The Cultivars in the Commonwealth web application is a repository of feedback provided by Pennsylvania grape and wine industry stakeholders. The tool provides wine grape cultivar-specific information on a statewide and county-specific basis. Cultivar-specific vineyard performance, wine production, and sales trends are documented. This interactive resource will allow users to learn about cultivar trends in Pennsylvania, which may enable judicious cultivar selection as based on traits of interest. Note that the data contained in Cultivars in the Commonwealth is not exhaustive; the data provided is courtesy of the industry stakeholders that provided feedback about Pennsylvania-grown wine grape cultivars and/or wines made from Pennsylvania-grown wine grapes.

The Cultivars in the Commonwealth web application was made possible through a grant supported by the Pennsylvania Wine Marketing and Research Board and funded by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. The Penn State Extension Grape and Wine Team coordinated the project; the Penn State Extension Grape and Wine Team is grateful for the support and funding provided by these organizations.
